I’ve talked quite a bit about the poetry I’ve written for my upcoming poetry and art show, but I haven’t talked much about the art that will accompany the poetry. My sister, Kirsten, is an amazing artist. She specializes in graphic design but dabbles in many different mediums. For our upcoming show, Siamese Sisters, she focused on paint. I’m really excited to see the paintings in person, and see how she reacted to the poems I wrote. I hope you’ll be able to come to our show on April 23rd and see them too! Perhaps my favorite part of this book was that the plot twist was truly a surprise - often I guess what's going to happen and while that's not necessarily a bad thing, it's also nice to be surprised once in a while. =)
